Before the calendar turns a new leaf over, before the social networking sites get flooded with messages, before the mobile networks get congested, let me take a quiet moment out to wish you a wonderful, happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
2015 has been for me, a year not without its challenges for me, but on reflection i saw little hardship relevant to that faced by many of my friends this year, as they deal with loss in its many forms, be it a loved one taken away from them by illness, home and possessions by the forces of nature during storms and flooding, or even financial due to loss of employment or inability to cope with debt.
This time last year, i felt trapped in a job, which no longer satisfied me, facing redundancy and full of dread at what might become of me should all my earnings be taken from me in one. I made it my resolution last year to do my best to never end up in that position again, since then deciding and beginning to build the foundations of what would eventually become multiple streams of income for my time spent in roles that satisfy once again. It seems appropriate for me that just before christmas, i applied for voluntary redundancy, enabling me to now say goodbye to that job i no longer enjoyed and focus on doing more of what i love, living life, spending time with my family, celebrating with friends, as well as earning a few “earth credits” to cover the costs of our needs and the occasional treat 😉
So I decided to create this blog, with the intention of reducing the amount of time i spend creating my social media content and allowing me more time to engage with you all in the conversation, whilst intergrating horticultural services, permaculture advice, laser and inkjet printer sales, or what you need to help you to find your vision if you lack one, provide you with the tools if you need them, the plans for a design that fits you, together with the assembly instructions……..as well as a few random ramblings and odd musing 😉
As we rapidly approach 2016 and what i feel has the potential to be my best year yet, i wish it also be yours. Namaste !!!
